Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.
A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.
Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.
The assault - which police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
